Michelle "Antoinette" Obama sez: "Let them eat certified organic Tuscan kale!"

Here's how Dana Milbank of the Washington Post described Michelle "Antoinette" Obama's (Mobama's) latest exhibition of nouvelle riche obnoxiousness:

Let's say you're preparing dinner and you realize with dismay that you don't have any certified organic Tuscan kale. What to do?

Here's how Michelle Obama handled this very predicament Thursday afternoon:

The Secret Service and the D.C. police brought in three dozen vehicles and shut down H Street, Vermont Avenue, two lanes of I Street and an entrance to the McPherson Square Metro station. They swept the area, in front of the Department of Veterans Affairs, with bomb-sniffing dogs and installed magnetometers in the middle of the street, put up barricades to keep pedestrians out, and took positions with binoculars atop trucks. Though the produce stand was only a block or so from the White House, the first lady hopped into her armored limousine and pulled into the market amid the wail of sirens.

Then, and only then, could Obama purchase her leafy greens (sic). (NN: according to Word© Grammar Check this is a sentence fragment! But I think it's an okay sentence.)  "Now it's time to buy some food," she told several hundred people who came to watch. "Let's shop!"

Milbank is more famous for angering the Bush Administration and others than for covering the current excesses of the nouvelle riche Obamas or frivolous Leftist plutocrats. While the article has a sarcastic edge to it, something doesn't ring true.  I guess it's because a similar shopping trip by Laura Bush, Barbara Bush, or Nancy Reagan would have been met with howls of indignation by Liberal shills like Milbank. 

Remember the fuss that was made in the 1992 Presidential Election campaign when it was ridiculously asserted that George H.W. Bush was "out of touch" with mainstream America because he was amazed at a price scanner displayed at a grocers' convention in Orlando, FL?  The Left Wing media's spin of this event to Bill Clinton's advantage was as ridiculous as any random Keith Olbermann thought (sic).

This is a story about Mobama that will not get any airplay on the Lame Stream Media alphabet networks, i.e., ABC, NBC, CBS, or CNN.  The Neo-Communists know that many of you no longer read newspapers like the Washington Post for a variety of reasons--e.g., you probably prefer truth to fiction in your newspapers. They're counting on your ignorance.
