TOUGH GUYS DON'T PRANCE (Apologies to Norman Mailer)**

After a grueling day of golf, our tough guy POTUS is
on the sidelines, as a bystander during the killing of
Osama bin Laden.
Barack Obama has questioned whether Mitt Romney would have had the courage to take out Osama bin Ladin. Here's the short answer--yes. Mitt Romney said today that even Jimmy Carter would have done itNow, look at the picture to the right. Does Obama look engaged in the task at hand? Not really. He's hunkered down like he's trying to avoid being noticed. That day he was playing golf until he dropped into the situation room 20 minutes before the Navy SEALS began the mission to take out Osama bin Laden.

This is according to a story in the UK Daily Mail online, citing claims in a book by Chuck Pfarrer, a former SEAL team commander, entitled SEAL Target Geronimo Pfarrer spoke to several of the men that carried out the operation at Bin Laden's mansion hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan.  According to the Daily Mail story:
Mr Pfarrer says the President's role was largely inflated and suggests he stayed out on the golf course for so long so he could distance himself in case it went wrong. Mr Pfarrer writes: 'If this had completely gone south, he was in a position to disavow.'
A year later, Obama is taking full credit for the hit on Osama. He acted like he was the man being sung about in the old Gene Pitney song Liberty Valance.*** The song is about the killing of a vicious gunslinger named Liberty Valance by a lawyer. Hmm, Obama is a lawyer. Perhaps some of the song's lyrics could be altered to sing the praises of our tough guy POTUS:

Everyone heard shots ring out, those shots made Osama fall
But the man who watched as Osama died, he watched as Osama died
He was the bravest of them all

Tough guy Democrat POTUS candidate
Michael Dukakis in 1988-- showing that
he's combat ready.
Obama has been thumping his chest for the last couple of days as if he pulled the trigger that killed Osama. And he seems to have gotten a taste for killing lately with the use of drones to kill suspected terrorists. During Sunday's 60 Minutes interview with Jose Rodriguez, the ex-CIA Interrogations Chief quizzed naïve Liberal propagandist Lesley Stahl with the moral conundrum of which is less ethical; indiscriminately killing terrorists or capturing them, interrogating and pouring club soda up their noses. To hypocritical Liberals, the former and the latter is true only if it is a Republican in charge. But when Liberals are in charge, they are usually appeasers, i.e., unless they sense some political advantage in appearing to be a tough guy.  Still a Liberal male usually looks very silly whenever he tries to look tough. See, e.g., the above picture of the 1988 Democrat Presidential Candidate Michael Dukakis.

The current Obama-Romney tit for tat may have begun when Mitt Romney called Obama "an appeaser" in December 2011. On Chrissy Matthews' show Hardball, (read Softball) Obama shill and Washington Post propagandist, Eugene Robinson stated in response:
The fact is, though, that as President Obama said, he's not an appeaser just -- if you look at the record, he's more of an assassin if you want to talk about the way he's attacked terrorism. He has  gone out to kill the al-Qaeda leaders."
This delighted Obama fan boy, ex-cop Chrissy Matthews who pointed out that Mitt Romney had no business calling Obama an appeaser because he had no history of military service in his family, (so much for free speech.) What that flawed bit of logic has to do with anything is beyond comprehension. But Liberals are comfortable pointing out the flaws of others even though they are among the most flawed, self-centered, and cowardly of all human beings.  And it doesn't matter if they have the same flaws as those that they are criticizing. Anybody that is sane would have made the call to take out Osama. That the normally passive Obama wants to make political hay out of the killing of Osama is shameless. It also shows that real tough guys don't prance.

Nafta's Notes

**The title of this blog post is a play on the title of the Norman Mailer book, Tough Guys Don't Dance as well as a movie.  The movie got some mediocre reviews and rates 4.9 out of 10 stars by IMDb users. One piece of trivia about the movie in the IMDb entry is interesting:
Norman Mailer, in the director's commentary on the DVD, said that he was counseled to cut the ending of the scene in which Ryan O'Neal's character Tim Madden reads a note from his ex-girlfriend Madeline informing him that his wife was having an affair with her husband, and he exclaims, "Oh God! Oh Man! Oh God! Oh Man!" because of O'Neal's poor performance. Mailer kept it in because he thought the poor line reading actually added something to the picture. O'Neal, who had been friendly with Mailer, turned on him, as the bit revealed his shortcomings as an actor and embarrassed him.

***The song Liberty Valence is from the movie The Man who Shot Liberty Valence. According to the IMDb entry, the film is about, "A senator, who became famous for killing a notorious outlaw, returns for the funeral of an old friend and tells the truth about his deed." Except for telling the truth, the storyline is not unlike Obama's account of the taking out of Osama bin Laden:
When Senator Ransom Stoddard returns home to Shinbone for the funeral of Tom Doniphon, he recounts to a local newspaper editor the story behind it all. He had come to town many years before, a lawyer by profession. The stage was robbed on its way in by the local ruffian, Liberty Valance and Stoddard has nothing to his name left save a few law books. He gets [a] job in the kitchen at the Ericson's restaurant and there [he] meets his future wife Hallie. The territory is vying for Statehood and Stoddard is selected as a representative over Valance, who continues terrorizing the town. When he destroys the local newspaper office and attacks the editor, Stoddard calls him out though the conclusion is not quite as straightforward as legend would have it. [Emphasis added.]
This another way of saying there were political spin doctors back in the day.

RACISM ON MY MIND, A Democrat Election Year Anthem

This parody song is posted with sincere apologies to Ray Charles. It is sung to the tune of his legendary song, Georgia on My Mind. This song is also set in Georgia typeface.

RACISM ON MY MIND

Racism, Racism,
The whole election through
Just a tired old song
Keeps racism on my mind

I say Racism
Racism
A song of you
Comes as bitter and cynical
As dogma through Liberal whines

Other attitudes reach out to me
Other views smile tenderly
Still in Liberal dreams I see
The road to serfdom leads back to you

I said Racism
Ooh Racism, no peace I’ve consigned
Just a tired old song
Keeps racism on my mind

Other attitudes reach out to me
Other views smile tenderly
Still in Liberal dreams I see that
The road to serfdom leads back to you

Racism, Racism,
The whole election through
Just a tired old song
Keeps racism on my mind

I said just an old tired song,
Keeps racism on my mind

TAX REFORM, TAX REDUX OR TAX REFLUX?

The federal tax deadline has come and gone. But there are no signs that the Tax Code will get any better or simpler despite presidential primary campaign rhetoric.  What is really needed is a taxpayer-friendly tax code. Here are a few suggestions to that end.

1. Simpler Forms

Taxpayer-friendly means that tax forms should first be easy to navigate. In response to my comment that only a sick mind could have devised such complicated tax forms, a continuing education tax course instructor told me that the "architecture" of the tax forms are brilliant. (Spoken like a true accountant.) But Form 1040 is a complicated form. Filling it out is a lot like doing what the lyrics to the old Boy Scout Hokey Pokey song tells you to do.
You put your right hand in,
You put your right hand out,
You put your right hand in,
And you shake it all about,
You do the hokey pokey
and you turn yourself around
That what it's all about.
One can get dizzy doing this song and dance. It's the same thing with Form 1040. Taxpayers have to jump from line to line and from form to form just to get your AGI (adjusted gross income, lines 23 to 37, plus filling out several additional forms). This is after going through lines 7 through 22 to figure out how much income one made in a given tax year.

Simpler Days - The 1913 version of Form 1040
Since the first 1040 made its debut in 1913, the form(s) have become increasingly more complicated and at times reflecting less than honorable political motives, i.e., vote buying, by giving financial goodies.

An example of this political posturing is the Earned Income Credit, Internal Revenue Code §32. A good, yet simple definition of the Earned Income Credit is found in, of all places, Wikipedia.
The  United States federal earned income tax credit or earned income credit (EITC or EIC) is a refundable tax credit for low- and medium-income individuals and couples, primarily for those who have qualifying children. When the credit exceeds the amount of taxes owed, it results in a tax refund to those who qualify and claim the credit.
To qualify for this credit, a taxpayer must answer numerous qualifying questions about dependents, filing status, foreign income, etc. This a tedious task. This example also emphasizes the need for simpler tax forms without the overly complicated calculation formulas. There is an added bonus in that a form that enables easier compliance ensures compliance.

2. Some Other Suggestions

Here are a few suggestions to make the Tax Code an engine of economic prosperity.
  • Exempt the first $15,000 of income from taxation. An informational tax return would be filed for incomes falling between $5000 and $15000. This would also  establish a baseline for low income taxpayers wishing to use income averaging when their financial ship comes in. (See below.)
  • Exempt individual saving accounts up to a limit of $10,000 per year from taxation.  This should be the average daily balance of the savings account for each quarter.  This could be calculated the same way that average daily balance is calculated for your credit card bill. This would help to create capital for economic growth as well providing an incentive to savers to plan for their retirement or big purchases.
  • Bring back income averaging to allow taxpayers to not get financially reamed if they land a good job or for those taxpayers that have landed their first good paying job.
  • Provide a lower corporate tax rate for those companies that build and maintain factories for a minimum of five years in the United States or its possessions. It wouldn't matter for tax purposes if they are foreign or domestic companies.
  • Provide a tax amnesty for taxpayers out in the cold. To  provide an incentive to pay back taxes, reduce the amount of back taxes due ranging from 10% to 50% based upon cooperation and other factors. For taxpayers that cooperate, remove all penalties from the tax bill. For those that don't take advantage of the amnesty add 10% to 50% to the tax bill due; on top of the interest and penalties already due.
  • Except as noted above, everybody pays something. That means that traditional 503(c)(3)s and foundations would pay a small percentage of the lesser of gross value of its holdings or its income, e.g., (0.01 * gross value = taxable amount). Many universities that charge an arm and leg for student tuition accumulate vast endowment funds and give nothing back.
  • Expand Roth IRAs and phase out traditional IRAs by allowing liberal rollover provisions, including a low tax rate for converted IRA withdrawals deposited into Roth IRAs.
These suggestions are intended to be dialog starters. It's not a mentally taxing exercise if we have the will to make the change.

STUDENT LOANS, STUDENT MOANS...

Imagine this. You're in debt up to your assets because you borrowed $200,000 plus to major in Comparative Literature at an elite university. You're out of school now, but after 10 months you still can't find a job. Too bad that you selected a college major that probably will require that you either (1) get a public school teaching credential or (2) get a PhD in your esoteric college major to find work. If you pick Door Number One or Door Number Two, more school and more debt is in your future. According to USA Today:
The amount of student loans taken out last year crossed the $100 billion mark for the first time and total loans outstanding will exceed $1 trillion for the first time this year. Americans now owe more on student loans than on credit cards, reports the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the U.S. Department of Education and private sources.
The bad news is that a public school teaching job probably won't pay for the fantasy Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous that many of these aspiring academics crave. Good PhD jobs are hard to get and require trudging on an academic tenure track that would make the travails of Sisyphus seem like a piece of cake. Huffington Post columnist, Rich Williams bemoans the fate of poor debtor students:
There's a countdown to an ominous deadline for college students across America. When time runs out on July 1, 2012, student loan interest rates will double for almost 8 million students. Without a plan, millions of students will pay a crushing $5,000 more on their student loan than they otherwise would.
The above-mentioned USA Today article quotes a finance (good choice of major) graduate student who opined:
"It's going to create a generation of wage slavery," says Nick Pardini, a Villanova University graduate student in finance who has warned on a blog for investors that student loans are the next credit bubble — with borrowers, rather than lenders, as the losers.
Never mind the poor taxpayers that have funded many of these vain fantasies. Nobody ever thinks they might end up taking Door Number Three, a commission sales job to make ends meet. This is where false pride goeth before the fall or, to use a fancy college term, hubris goes down the crapper. Some college graduates simply do not the have the interpersonal skills to succeed in sales and they fail miserably because they think they're good for the job.

If you, or more likely your parents took out private loans or a second mortgage to fund your self-indulgent fantasy of graduating from an "elite" university,  your Mom and Dad might be SOL. And as a result, your parents may not have the comfortable retirement that they had planned for. If you have a government loan, things are not much better.  Interest rates on student loans are scheduled to double this July to 6.8%, roughly what they were in the 1970s, when I went to school. To give you an idea of how different things were back then; banks were paying 6% plus on passbook accounts. No such luck now getting a decent rate of return for your hard-earned money. But the 1970s are beginning to mirror the present day. The 1970s were considered a decade of malaise with the pathetic Jimmy Carter closing out the 1970s with high inflation and a terrible economic growth rate.

But don't worry, Obama's here to save the day and if in the bargain he picks up a few college student votes, so much the better.  Obama wants to keep the rate at 3.4% in a futile attempt recapture the magic of his 2008 campaign, when young skulls full of mush bought into his "hope and change" hokum. Republicans are opposing Obama's proposal because the US cannot afford yet another expensive Obama giveaway.

Margaret Thatcher had it right when she said, “Socialists are happy until they run out of other people's money.” Obama's need for votes is causing him to kick out the jams when it comes to vote buying schemes.  This is why class warfare scams like the Buffett rule imposing a minimum tax rate of 30% on millionaires originate to pay for this student loan vote buying scheme. To the Senate's credit it was rejected

But there's always Door Number Three. Disgruntled student loan debtors can join the slugs in the Occupy (Bowel) Movement and demand that taxpayers forgive their student loans and their life poor choices.  But why coddle these edumacated idiots and deprive them of the life lesson of thinking before you act. As a friend once told me, life is short unless you make a poor life altering choice.

IT'S A MAN BITES DOG WORLD AND BO IS NERVOUS

Just when Democrats thought that they were going to make political hay with the story of how those cruel Romneys drove to Canada with their dog Seamus riding on top of their car; the Lib-fanatics as you'll see below, shot themselves in their collective feet and heads since their feet were lodged firmly in their collective mouths. Some Libtards aligning themselves with Dogs Against Romney, on Facebook, were engaged in attacking Romney's alleged dog cruelty.   Funny thing, these same "kind humanitarians" see nothing cruel in aborting innocent human fetuses.

In an interview with the Romneys, ABC World News Tonight twit, Diane Sawyer, (that's TWIT NOT TWAT you hysterical Liberal harpies), was more than happy to lay the groundwork for yet another faux Democrat issue--animal cruelty. Sawyer acted just as George Stephanopoulos had done earlier with the phony Republican war on women issue that he started during one of the Republican Primary debates that he moderated (sic) . Check out the You Tube video. (Coincidentally, "Step-on-all-of-us" asked Romney this question. Hmm, are they afraid of Romney?)

Ann Romney explained that their dog Seamus was suffering through a bout of canine diarrhea caused by eating turkey on the counter.  (One does wonder however, about the food handling skills of lifetime homemaker Ann Romney if a turkey was left on the counter long enough to make a hungry Seamus sick.) According to an LA Times Politics piece:
In an interview with the Huffington Post, Scott Crider, the creator of Dogs Against Romney, showed no indication of being deterred by the candidate's remarks.
"The pack wants answers and, honestly, we keep hoping the Romneys will begin to understand the cruelty and illegality of what they did to their dog. Sadly, the Romneys keep falling short," he said.
Have you ever heard such silly self-righteous indignation?  If this is all they got on Romney then they are a truly pathetic bunch.  What will probably happen now is that they'll fall back on religious bigotry to slander Romney.

Well, they jumped the gun with this attack on Romney, with the revelation that Barack Obama ate dog as a "ute,"  (i.e., youth as mispronounced in the film My Cousin Vinny). This revelation was made over 15 years ago in Obama's autobiography Dreams from my Fathers. Imagine having the hubris to be a person of such little accomplishment and still write an autobiography?

There are some wild conspiratorial theories that the then unknown Obama was a future Manchurian Canine-date (i.e., Candidate, pardon the bad pun) to be installed one day as President of the United States. Read this effusive entry from Wikipedia about Obama's autobiography and judge for yourself:
In discussing Dreams from My Father, Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison has called Obama "a writer in my high esteem" and the book "quite extraordinary." She praised "his ability to reflect on this extraordinary mesh of experiences that he has had, some familiar and some not, and to really meditate on that the way he does, and to set up scenes in narrative structure, dialogue, conversation—all of these things that you don't often see, obviously, in the routine political memoir biography. [...] It's unique. It's his. There are no other ones like that."[31] In an interview for The Daily Beast, author Philip Roth said he had read Dreams from My Father "with great interests," and commented that he had found it "well done and very persuasive and memorable."[32]
The book "may be the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician," wrote Time columnist Joe Klein.[33] In 2008, The Guardian's Rob Woodard wrote that Dreams from My Father "is easily the most honest, daring, and ambitious volume put out by a major US politician in the last 50 years."[34] Michiko Kakutani, the Pulitzer Prize-winning critic for The New York Times, described it as "the most evocative, lyrical and candid autobiography written by a future president."[35]
The audio book edition earned Obama the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album.[36] Five days before being sworn in as President, Obama secured a $500,000 advance for an abridged version of "Dreams From My Father" for middle-school-aged children.[37]
In 2011, the book was placed on Time Magazine's top 100 non-fiction books written in English since 1923.
I don't quite see the conspiracy. Still, why would such a "distinguished" literary group of individuals heap such praise on an relatively unknown politician like Obama? Maybe the DNC propaganda machine sent out a mass-distribution fax to prominent literary Demo-bots saying that Obama's book needed to be chatted up.  Ever since Julian Bond splashed upon the national political scene in 1964, Democrats had been looking for the next big thing, i.e., a young black messiah to lead them out of their political wilderness, i.e., their history of racism.

Unfortunately Obama is a flawed messiah, whose public, academic, and other records are currently suppressed from public scrutiny. One has to wonder why? As this You Tube video shows, Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose, two prominent Liberal water-carriers admitted that they knew little about Obama in 2008.  But while we don't know his school grades, we do know now that he's eaten dog. We also know that he's not very good at his current job. It's going to take a lot more than "stupid Axelrod tricks"  this time to keep the White House in Democrat control. Just for the record, putting Seamus on top of the family car was a  thoughtless thing to do. You don't get get a pass from me either Willard Romney.

LAY OFF MY WIFE, BUT YOURS IS FAIR GAME.

Back in 2008, then-Presidential Candidate Obama warned the Tennessee GOP to, "Lay off my wife."  The Tennessee GOP had run an ad in response to Michelle Obama's remark that, "For the first time in my life I'm proud of my country." (Sorry that you've done so poorly living in this country Michelle.) DNC stooge Hilary Rosen also said in 2008, that any strategy of attacking Michelle Obama would be a poor one for the Republicans to follow.

Apparently with Il Duce, i.e., Barack Obama, in election year trouble, Ms. Rosen now believes that the strategy of not attacking a candidate's wife does not apply to Ann Romney, wife of Mitt Romney, the probable GOP presidential nominee.  Apparently in Ms. Rosen's view, Mrs. Romney cannot comment with any credibility about women's economic issues, because she hasn't "worked a day in her life."

In case you haven't guessed it, Mrs. Romney is a stay-at-home mother. But it would be a shock to my Mother and millions of other stay-at-home mothers to find out that what they do as stay-at-home mothers is not real work.  Or at least it's not the lofty work of transforming America into Il Duce's Utopian Socialist vision. It's not even  comparable to First Lady, Michelle Obama's former $317,000 "no show" job as Vice-President of Community Relations at the University of Chicago Hospital. (The job has since been quietly eliminated.)

Stay-at-home mothers like my Mother and Mrs. Romney do the hard work of raising children, coping with household budgets, gas prices, food prices, and dealing with sometimes demanding husbands. This is not a snap at men; it's just the recognition that living 24/7 with anybody is not easy.  By the way, all these women (and some stay-at home husbands) do know the high price of every commodity from gasoline to chicken thighs. They are precisely the people qualified to discuss economic issues. So thanks Il Duce for your destructive economic policies that screw everybody.  And stop blaming everyone else for your failure to fix the economy as you said that you would during your campaign in 2008.
_______________________________________

Remember in 1992, when Bill Clinton's political operatives successfully tagged President Bush (No. 41) as being "out of touch" because he didn't know the price of groceries? That was a truly ridiculous assertion that resonated with those vapid, stupid, and gullible Baby Boomers that were carried away by the prospect of electing the first Baby Boomer President in American history. (See what happens when you cast a vote just to make history? You get an incompetent smooth talker as President.) But didn't you know that Boomers were electing a "hip" and "in the know" sax-playing dude named Bill Clinton as the Prez? Oh wow! Never mind that a truly competent President has better things to worry about than the price of frozen pizza or chicken thighs.

Ms. Rosen's comment about Mrs. Romney is as arrogant, childish, and condescending as anything that any leftist Baby Boomer political operative has ever said.  But of course, the usual liberal jackasses, like the View's Joy(less) Behar vigorously defended Ms. Rosen.  Ms. Rosen has since apologized in a half-assed way to Mrs. Romney after pressure, direct and indirect, to do so by the Obama campaign. But somehow, an apology from an ignorant self-righteous elitist like Ms. Rosen rings as hollow as any one of Obama's campaign promises.

CAN YOU SAY PENDEJO? (OR I'M GLAD I DIDN'T SAY THAT!)

Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen has been suspended by Marlins management for five games for expressing his "love" for Fidel Castro in an interview with a Time Magazine reporter. In case you don't know, the Marlins play major league baseball in Miami, home to probably the largest Cuban population north of Havana. It goes without saying that Guillen's alleged Castro loving remark was about as smart as a smoking in a silo full of grain or saying the "N word" in a South Central LA bar.

In fairness to Guillen, English is not his first language so there may be some merit to his claim at a news conference that his words were lost in translation. According to the report by Local 10.com :
...when asked at the news conference if he loves the former Cuban dictator, he said, "No." The Marlins manager said the reporter in the article misinterpreted his remarks and claimed [that] what he really said in Spanish was, "I cannot believe that someone who has hurt so many people over the years is still alive."
It wouldn't be the first time that the the Mainstream News Media got it wrong. Neither accuracy or truthfulness has been a strong suit of the so-called Mainstream News Media in recent years. The average journalist, sports or otherwise, should be regarded generally as being about as trustworthy as a kleptomaniac in a fine jewelry store. Still, Marlins management might be wise to fully educate their multiloquent manager on the ways of dealing with the news media.

The "teachable moment" here is to always carefully choose your words with members of the so-called fourth estate. As we've seen in Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case the Mainstream Media is not above altering, deleting or misrepresenting facts in a news story to suit their agenda. It doesn't matter if there's a tape of the newsworthy event.  An editor might well edit it to suit an editorial agenda. Or the editor (or reporter) may be simply lazy, careless, or ignorant, (e.g., not knowing a foreign language's nuances), in handling a news story. But whether or not the Mainstream Media is misinterpreting or misrepresenting Ozzie Guillen's remarks, their tainted reputation for integrity and truthfulness precedes them. So we may never know what Ozzie really said.

A NATION OF FREELOADERS

As the April 15th tax filing deadline approaches, it is noteworthy that almost half of Americans, including corporate giant General Electric on revenues of $14 Billion, did not pay ANY income tax in 2011. Many of these are freeloaders that live on government support without contributing a red cent to the revenue pool.

According to Answers.com:

If you use those who are supported by Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)--best described as a federal largess to indigent families with dependent children--as stated by the Dept. of Health the data suggests 1.7% of the total population that derive over 50% of their income from Welfare supports.

The number stated that receive any portion of their support from welfare assistance--including food stamps--it is 29,900,000 or roughly 8% of the total population in the United States.

This breaks down to:

· 39% white 11,661,000 of 29,900,000 recipients

· 38% black 11,362,000 of 29,900,000 recipients

· 17% Hispanic 5,083,000 of 29,900,000 recipients

The strictest sense of the term though would be those getting income directly from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services which is about 8% of the total population that receives some form of assistance and 1.7% that receive most of their income (50% or more) from these programs.

According to the online Daily Mail a leftist UK publication:

·   151.7million U.S. citizens paid no federal income tax in 2009, according to figures compiled by the Heritage Foundation.

·   In 1984, the middle of the Reagan era, 85 per cent of Americans paid federal income tax, meaning [that] just 34.8million people did not.

·  Another finding by the Heritage Foundation shows that 21.8 per cent of U.S. citizens receive financial assistance from the federal government. This means that 67.3million people - a record high - are "dependent on the federal government", excluding government employees who rely on the public sector for their salaries.

If you believe what Liberals claim about their self-righteous pursuit of tax revenue from the "wealthy" then one must wonder why legal tax havens like a Private Family Foundation's earnings aren't taxed at all. This is a tax planning device cleverly used by Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. They are two high profile liberals that are taking advantage of a tax advantage that primarily benefit the wealthy.

Where's the outrage? Where are the "99%'s" that should be occupying the Microsoft business premises? Why aren't they in Omaha in front of the Oracle of Omaha's mansion? The answer is selective morality. Leftists as a rule are hypocritical when it comes to moral issues. If one of their darlings has a moral failing such as prostitute patron Eliot Spitzer or Dan Rather--even if he unknowingly uttered a forgery to influence a Federal election--so what? There are journalism (sic) awards and TV shows to reward such bad behavior.

Freeloading is not limited to any particular socio-economic class. The tempest in a teapot over Rush Limbaugh's alleged "slur" against female law "stoodent" Sandra Fluke is silly. While Limbaugh's criticism may have been less than artful, his point remains; since when are taxpayers responsible for the "entertainment" expenses of a grown woman or man? Fluke claimed that she was having so much sex that she couldn't afford birth control pills. Fluke said that Georgetown law school does not provide contraception coverage in its student health plan and that contraception can cost a woman more than $3,000 during law school.

The contraception cost issue is a frivolous argument. There are economical birth control alternatives. Condoms are cheap and according to a female friend of mine are given away by many social welfare organizations. Planned Parenthood remains a cheap source of all types of contraception.

By the way Sandy, Georgetown Law is a Catholic Jesuit school. The Catholic Church does not condone birth control or abortion. If you have a problem with that either go to another law school or get a part-time job so you can buy your own pills. I worked my way through a Catholic law school and bought my own condoms.

Fluke asking a Catholic University to contravene its religious doctrine to provide her with free contraception would be like me going to the Yeshiva University cafeteria and demanding a free pulled pork sandwich. Hey Sandy, when do you take time out from your busy sex life to study law? That is, if you truly are the serious law student that you want us to believe that you are. And what about the man in your life, why doesn't he provide the birth control method? Why is it your sole responsibility?

During my college days, I remember a coworker of mine at a department store where I worked as saying that having sex while using condoms was like taking a shower in a raincoat. Well, guys get over it. Whether it is love, deep like, or even a one night stand, you have a responsibility to your partner to have birth control available. Putting on a condom won't spoil the moment and it’s relatively cheap.

As demanded by the Liberal Fascists, Rush apologized over the weekend. But it’s not done, yet. These modern day Brown Shirts will do anything to drive Rush from the airwaves.  Unable to compete in the arena of ideas, Liberal-Fascists, will resort to outright lies, violence, forgery, vote fraud, or disinformational subterfuge in lieu of reasoned argument to promote their Fascist agenda. The best example of this is the so-called "war on women" by Republicans.  The Democrats can't successfully run on the failed Obama's record of misery. So they resort to a red herring to sell their leader's failed agenda.

But the real story is that Sandy is training to move up in class from activist to Liberal lawyer class action thug. From these bloodsucking freeloaders, I have received a couple of class action “settlements.” The total of the settlements was under $20. For me, here was no dilemma of deciding whether to buy a house, buy a car, or go to Europe. Put together the settlements would have been barely enough to have bought two tickets and small popcorn for the local 10 a.m., Sunday morning matinee at the local movie house.

If you've ever been home sick from work, you'll see these bloodsucking freeloaders heavily advertising during daytime television.  Their target audience are their fellow freeloaders collecting their government transfer payments. Lawyers freeload off the misery of others. What a noble bunch they are always acting in the public good.

The final group of freeloaders is the unwashed Occupy [fill in the blank] human chancres that are polluting the landscape of the United States. These are shock troops of the Liberal Fascist totalitarian take-over of the United States. They want their student loans forgiven and mortgages paid for by someone else. They decry capitalism but are not above enjoying their i-Pods, smart phones, and other products of Capitalist innovation. We could name more freeloaders but hasn't your day been ruined enough already?

How about a tax policy where everybody pays something into the tax pool even if it is a token payment? Yeah, that would include Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway investment fund that still owes a billion in back taxes. Do you think that there a quid pro quo between Buffett's advocacy for Obama's "tax the rich" agenda and a favorable settlement of  Berkshire Hathaway's back taxes problem? That would help Buffett's bottom line considerably inasmuch as he derives most all of his income from lower taxed capital gains and not ordinary income.  Would it be too much to ask Foundations to  pay .01 of 1% of their gross value in taxes?
