IT'S A MAN BITES DOG WORLD AND BO IS NERVOUS

Just when Democrats thought that they were going to make political hay with the story of how those cruel Romneys drove to Canada with their dog Seamus riding on top of their car; the Lib-fanatics as you'll see below, shot themselves in their collective feet and heads since their feet were lodged firmly in their collective mouths. Some Libtards aligning themselves with Dogs Against Romney, on Facebook, were engaged in attacking Romney's alleged dog cruelty.   Funny thing, these same "kind humanitarians" see nothing cruel in aborting innocent human fetuses.

In an interview with the Romneys, ABC World News Tonight twit, Diane Sawyer, (that's TWIT NOT TWAT you hysterical Liberal harpies), was more than happy to lay the groundwork for yet another faux Democrat issue--animal cruelty. Sawyer acted just as George Stephanopoulos had done earlier with the phony Republican war on women issue that he started during one of the Republican Primary debates that he moderated (sic) . Check out the You Tube video. (Coincidentally, "Step-on-all-of-us" asked Romney this question. Hmm, are they afraid of Romney?)

Ann Romney explained that their dog Seamus was suffering through a bout of canine diarrhea caused by eating turkey on the counter.  (One does wonder however, about the food handling skills of lifetime homemaker Ann Romney if a turkey was left on the counter long enough to make a hungry Seamus sick.) According to an LA Times Politics piece:
In an interview with the Huffington Post, Scott Crider, the creator of Dogs Against Romney, showed no indication of being deterred by the candidate's remarks.
"The pack wants answers and, honestly, we keep hoping the Romneys will begin to understand the cruelty and illegality of what they did to their dog. Sadly, the Romneys keep falling short," he said.
Have you ever heard such silly self-righteous indignation?  If this is all they got on Romney then they are a truly pathetic bunch.  What will probably happen now is that they'll fall back on religious bigotry to slander Romney.

Well, they jumped the gun with this attack on Romney, with the revelation that Barack Obama ate dog as a "ute,"  (i.e., youth as mispronounced in the film My Cousin Vinny). This revelation was made over 15 years ago in Obama's autobiography Dreams from my Fathers. Imagine having the hubris to be a person of such little accomplishment and still write an autobiography?

There are some wild conspiratorial theories that the then unknown Obama was a future Manchurian Canine-date (i.e., Candidate, pardon the bad pun) to be installed one day as President of the United States. Read this effusive entry from Wikipedia about Obama's autobiography and judge for yourself:
In discussing Dreams from My Father, Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison has called Obama "a writer in my high esteem" and the book "quite extraordinary." She praised "his ability to reflect on this extraordinary mesh of experiences that he has had, some familiar and some not, and to really meditate on that the way he does, and to set up scenes in narrative structure, dialogue, conversation—all of these things that you don't often see, obviously, in the routine political memoir biography. [...] It's unique. It's his. There are no other ones like that."[31] In an interview for The Daily Beast, author Philip Roth said he had read Dreams from My Father "with great interests," and commented that he had found it "well done and very persuasive and memorable."[32]
The book "may be the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician," wrote Time columnist Joe Klein.[33] In 2008, The Guardian's Rob Woodard wrote that Dreams from My Father "is easily the most honest, daring, and ambitious volume put out by a major US politician in the last 50 years."[34] Michiko Kakutani, the Pulitzer Prize-winning critic for The New York Times, described it as "the most evocative, lyrical and candid autobiography written by a future president."[35]
The audio book edition earned Obama the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album.[36] Five days before being sworn in as President, Obama secured a $500,000 advance for an abridged version of "Dreams From My Father" for middle-school-aged children.[37]
In 2011, the book was placed on Time Magazine's top 100 non-fiction books written in English since 1923.
I don't quite see the conspiracy. Still, why would such a "distinguished" literary group of individuals heap such praise on an relatively unknown politician like Obama? Maybe the DNC propaganda machine sent out a mass-distribution fax to prominent literary Demo-bots saying that Obama's book needed to be chatted up.  Ever since Julian Bond splashed upon the national political scene in 1964, Democrats had been looking for the next big thing, i.e., a young black messiah to lead them out of their political wilderness, i.e., their history of racism.

Unfortunately Obama is a flawed messiah, whose public, academic, and other records are currently suppressed from public scrutiny. One has to wonder why? As this You Tube video shows, Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose, two prominent Liberal water-carriers admitted that they knew little about Obama in 2008.  But while we don't know his school grades, we do know now that he's eaten dog. We also know that he's not very good at his current job. It's going to take a lot more than "stupid Axelrod tricks"  this time to keep the White House in Democrat control. Just for the record, putting Seamus on top of the family car was a  thoughtless thing to do. You don't get get a pass from me either Willard Romney.

LAY OFF MY WIFE, BUT YOURS IS FAIR GAME.

Back in 2008, then-Presidential Candidate Obama warned the Tennessee GOP to, "Lay off my wife."  The Tennessee GOP had run an ad in response to Michelle Obama's remark that, "For the first time in my life I'm proud of my country." (Sorry that you've done so poorly living in this country Michelle.) DNC stooge Hilary Rosen also said in 2008, that any strategy of attacking Michelle Obama would be a poor one for the Republicans to follow.

Apparently with Il Duce, i.e., Barack Obama, in election year trouble, Ms. Rosen now believes that the strategy of not attacking a candidate's wife does not apply to Ann Romney, wife of Mitt Romney, the probable GOP presidential nominee.  Apparently in Ms. Rosen's view, Mrs. Romney cannot comment with any credibility about women's economic issues, because she hasn't "worked a day in her life."

In case you haven't guessed it, Mrs. Romney is a stay-at-home mother. But it would be a shock to my Mother and millions of other stay-at-home mothers to find out that what they do as stay-at-home mothers is not real work.  Or at least it's not the lofty work of transforming America into Il Duce's Utopian Socialist vision. It's not even  comparable to First Lady, Michelle Obama's former $317,000 "no show" job as Vice-President of Community Relations at the University of Chicago Hospital. (The job has since been quietly eliminated.)

Stay-at-home mothers like my Mother and Mrs. Romney do the hard work of raising children, coping with household budgets, gas prices, food prices, and dealing with sometimes demanding husbands. This is not a snap at men; it's just the recognition that living 24/7 with anybody is not easy.  By the way, all these women (and some stay-at home husbands) do know the high price of every commodity from gasoline to chicken thighs. They are precisely the people qualified to discuss economic issues. So thanks Il Duce for your destructive economic policies that screw everybody.  And stop blaming everyone else for your failure to fix the economy as you said that you would during your campaign in 2008.

Remember in 1992, when Bill Clinton's political operatives successfully tagged President Bush (No. 41) as being "out of touch" because he didn't know the price of groceries? That was a truly ridiculous assertion that resonated with those vapid, stupid, and gullible Baby Boomers that were carried away by the prospect of electing the first Baby Boomer President in American history. (See what happens when you cast a vote just to make history? You get an incompetent smooth talker as President.) But didn't you know that Boomers were electing a "hip" and "in the know" sax-playing dude named Bill Clinton as the Prez? Oh wow! Never mind that a truly competent President has better things to worry about than the price of frozen pizza or chicken thighs.

Ms. Rosen's comment about Mrs. Romney is as arrogant, childish, and condescending as anything that any leftist Baby Boomer political operative has ever said.  But of course, the usual liberal jackasses, like the View's Joy(less) Behar vigorously defended Ms. Rosen.  Ms. Rosen has since apologized in a half-assed way to Mrs. Romney after pressure, direct and indirect, to do so by the Obama campaign. But somehow, an apology from an ignorant self-righteous elitist like Ms. Rosen rings as hollow as any one of Obama's campaign promises.

OF NOTE:
It was a difficult task publishing today's blog. It was analogous to that of King Sisyphus pushing a boulder uphill.  There were so many technical problems using the Google blog tools that I felt at times truly sabotaged. Hope I'm not getting paranoid.

CAN YOU SAY PENDEJO? (OR I'M GLAD I DIDN'T SAY THAT!)

Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen has been suspended by Marlins management for five games for expressing his "love" for Fidel Castro in an interview with a Time Magazine reporter. In case you don't know, the Marlins play major league baseball in Miami, home to probably the largest Cuban population north of Havana. It goes without saying that Guillen's alleged Castro loving remark was about as smart as a smoking in a silo full of grain or saying the "N word" in a South Central LA bar.

In fairness to Guillen, English is not his first language so there may be some merit to his claim at a news conference that his words were lost in translation. According to the report by Local 10.com :
...when asked at the news conference if he loves the former Cuban dictator, he said, "No." The Marlins manager said the reporter in the article misinterpreted his remarks and claimed [that] what he really said in Spanish was, "I cannot believe that someone who has hurt so many people over the years is still alive."
It wouldn't be the first time that the the Mainstream News Media got it wrong. Neither accuracy or truthfulness has been a strong suit of the so-called Mainstream News Media in recent years. The average journalist, sports or otherwise, should be regarded generally as being about as trustworthy as a kleptomaniac in a fine jewelry store. Still, Marlins management might be wise to fully educate their multiloquent manager on the ways of dealing with the news media.

The "teachable moment" here is to always carefully choose your words with members of the so-called fourth estate. As we've seen in Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case the Mainstream Media is not above altering, deleting or misrepresenting facts in a news story to suit their agenda. It doesn't matter if there's a tape of the newsworthy event.  An editor might well edit it to suit an editorial agenda. Or the editor (or reporter) may be simply lazy, careless, or ignorant, (e.g., not knowing a foreign language's nuances), in handling a news story. But whether or not the Mainstream Media is misinterpreting or misrepresenting Ozzie Guillen's remarks, their tainted reputation for integrity and truthfulness precedes them. So we may never know what Ozzie really said.

A NATION OF FREELOADERS

As the April 15th tax filing deadline approaches, it is noteworthy that almost half of Americans, including corporate giant General Electric on revenues of $14 Billion, did not pay ANY income tax in 2011. Many of these are freeloaders that live on government support without contributing a red cent to the revenue pool.

According to Answers.com:

If you use those who are supported by Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)--best described as a federal largess to indigent families with dependent children--as stated by the Dept. of Health the data suggests 1.7% of the total population that derive over 50% of their income from Welfare supports.

The number stated that receive any portion of their support from welfare assistance--including food stamps--it is 29,900,000 or roughly 8% of the total population in the United States.

This breaks down to:

· 39% white 11,661,000 of 29,900,000 recipients

· 38% black 11,362,000 of 29,900,000 recipients

· 17% Hispanic 5,083,000 of 29,900,000 recipients

The strictest sense of the term though would be those getting income directly from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services which is about 8% of the total population that receives some form of assistance and 1.7% that receive most of their income (50% or more) from these programs.

According to the online Daily Mail a leftist UK publication:

·   151.7million U.S. citizens paid no federal income tax in 2009, according to figures compiled by the Heritage Foundation.

·   In 1984, the middle of the Reagan era, 85 per cent of Americans paid federal income tax, meaning [that] just 34.8million people did not.

·  Another finding by the Heritage Foundation shows that 21.8 per cent of U.S. citizens receive financial assistance from the federal government. This means that 67.3million people - a record high - are "dependent on the federal government", excluding government employees who rely on the public sector for their salaries.

If you believe what Liberals claim about their self-righteous pursuit of tax revenue from the "wealthy" then one must wonder why legal tax havens like a Private Family Foundation's earnings aren't taxed at all. This is a tax planning device cleverly used by Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. They are two high profile liberals that are taking advantage of a tax advantage that primarily benefit the wealthy.

Where's the outrage? Where are the "99%'s" that should be occupying the Microsoft business premises? Why aren't they in Omaha in front of the Oracle of Omaha's mansion? The answer is selective morality. Leftists as a rule are hypocritical when it comes to moral issues. If one of their darlings has a moral failing such as prostitute patron Eliot Spitzer or Dan Rather--even if he unknowingly uttered a forgery to influence a Federal election--so what? There are journalism (sic) awards and TV shows to reward such bad behavior.

Freeloading is not limited to any particular socio-economic class. The tempest in a teapot over Rush Limbaugh's alleged "slur" against female law "stoodent" Sandra Fluke is silly. While Limbaugh's criticism may have been less than artful, his point remains; since when are taxpayers responsible for the "entertainment" expenses of a grown woman or man? Fluke claimed that she was having so much sex that she couldn't afford birth control pills. Fluke said that Georgetown law school does not provide contraception coverage in its student health plan and that contraception can cost a woman more than $3,000 during law school.

The contraception cost issue is a frivolous argument. There are economical birth control alternatives. Condoms are cheap and according to a female friend of mine are given away by many social welfare organizations. Planned Parenthood remains a cheap source of all types of contraception.

By the way Sandy, Georgetown Law is a Catholic Jesuit school. The Catholic Church does not condone birth control or abortion. If you have a problem with that either go to another law school or get a part-time job so you can buy your own pills. I worked my way through a Catholic law school and bought my own condoms.

Fluke asking a Catholic University to contravene its religious doctrine to provide her with free contraception would be like me going to the Yeshiva University cafeteria and demanding a free pulled pork sandwich. Hey Sandy, when do you take time out from your busy sex life to study law? That is, if you truly are the serious law student that you want us to believe that you are. And what about the man in your life, why doesn't he provide the birth control method? Why is it your sole responsibility?

During my college days, I remember a coworker of mine at a department store where I worked as saying that having sex while using condoms was like taking a shower in a raincoat. Well, guys get over it. Whether it is love, deep like, or even a one night stand, you have a responsibility to your partner to have birth control available. Putting on a condom won't spoil the moment and it’s relatively cheap.

As demanded by the Liberal Fascists, Rush apologized over the weekend. But it’s not done, yet. These modern day Brown Shirts will do anything to drive Rush from the airwaves.  Unable to compete in the arena of ideas, Liberal-Fascists, will resort to outright lies, violence, forgery, vote fraud, or disinformational subterfuge in lieu of reasoned argument to promote their Fascist agenda. The best example of this is the so-called "war on women" by Republicans.  The Democrats can't successfully run on the failed Obama's record of misery. So they resort to a red herring to sell their leader's failed agenda.

But the real story is that Sandy is training to move up in class from activist to Liberal lawyer class action thug. From these bloodsucking freeloaders, I have received a couple of class action “settlements.” The total of the settlements was under $20. For me, here was no dilemma of deciding whether to buy a house, buy a car, or go to Europe. Put together the settlements would have been barely enough to have bought two tickets and small popcorn for the local 10 a.m., Sunday morning matinee at the local movie house.

If you've ever been home sick from work, you'll see these bloodsucking freeloaders heavily advertising during daytime television.  Their target audience are their fellow freeloaders collecting their government transfer payments. Lawyers freeload off the misery of others. What a noble bunch they are always acting in the public good.

The final group of freeloaders is the unwashed Occupy [fill in the blank] human chancres that are polluting the landscape of the United States. These are shock troops of the Liberal Fascist totalitarian take-over of the United States. They want their student loans forgiven and mortgages paid for by someone else. They decry capitalism but are not above enjoying their i-Pods, smart phones, and other products of Capitalist innovation. We could name more freeloaders but hasn't your day been ruined enough already?

How about a tax policy where everybody pays something into the tax pool even if it is a token payment? Yeah, that would include Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway investment fund that still owes a billion in back taxes. Do you think that there a quid pro quo between Buffett's advocacy for Obama's "tax the rich" agenda and a favorable settlement of  Berkshire Hathaway's back taxes problem? That would help Buffett's bottom line considerably inasmuch as he derives most all of his income from lower taxed capital gains and not ordinary income.  Would it be too much to ask Foundations to  pay .01 of 1% of their gross value in taxes?

THE "DO NOTHING" DEMOCRAT SENATE

We're facing another government shutdown.  This has the Republican Party in full flight not fight mode.  The Obama campaign machine has been making noises that Obama will be running against a "do nothing" Congress--read the Republican'ts/Tea Party-controlled House of Representative.

Sinclair Lewis must have
envisioned Obama's ascent
 to power.
This is silly when you consider that the Democrat-controlled Senate has not approved an operating full budget in over three years.  Instead, the nation is subjected to a fiasco of continuing spending resolutions that result in higher spending.  For their part, Republican'ts are acting like a scared prison bitch waiting to be bitch-slapped by "her" main man.  They are afraid that Democrooks will accuse them of trying to shut the government down.

Here's some news for you cowardly Republican't lions.  Several shutdowns have happened in the last thirty years.  But it seems that the Republicans were traumatized by the two shutdown in FY 1995-96.  At one point some 800,000 Federal employees were furloughed.  The Clinton/Big Lie /Lame-stream Media propaganda machine went into action and placed the blame on Republican'ts, and in particular House Speaker Gingrich.  Presidential candidate Gingrich is paying the price today for that confrontation between fiscally responsible Conservatives and irresponsible Liberal Socialists.

The Republican establishment is running a sub rosa campaign against Gingrich and other conservative candidates that want to stand-up against the totalitarian Liberal-Socialists.   Each time that there's a possibility that there will be a government shutdown, the Republican't establishment  lackeys run in panic like a turkey before Thanksgiving dinner.

What the Republican'ts should be doing is pointing out through TV ads how it's the Democrooks that are gumming up the process by their intransigence.   Obama a compromiser?  That's rich.  The Presidunce is so stubborn that he would rather deny 20,000 jobs that would be created by the Keystone pipeline from Canada because he wants the payroll tax moratorium to continue without pipeline approval.  This boneheaded policy is cast in stone in Obama's blockhead, even though it would benefit his union supporters. [Oh please, you Liberal-Socialist dolts, don't tell me how "smart" Obama is unless you're prepared to show us his all of college grades, law school grades, and any scholarly writings by him!]  It appears that the Eco-Nazis have more sway than the unions do with this crypto-Marxist.

But it would be foolish to expect the Republican'ts to fight for what's right.  They prefer the sick romanticism of inglorious failure.  Pray that the Tea Party becomes a real political party before Obama assumes total control.

MISMANAGEMENT 101 or WELCOME to SAN DIEGO! [PART I]

If there is one place on the face of the Earth where mismanagement and incompetence reigns supreme it's the City of San Diego and its surrounding suburbs. From all the local governments to the sports teams, mismanagement and incompetence are the names of the game.  The only outstanding constant in San Diego is the weather.  As comedian Lewis Black joked, "The easiest job in the world is being a weatherman in San Diego."  The punchline of his joke is when the news anchor asks the weatherman, "How's the weather?"  The weatherman replies, "Nice, back to you."  Yup, that's "America's Finest City" alright.

This blog originates from the San (Scam) Diego area, and specifically Chula Vista (Vicious). After over 50 years residency in the area this writer has seen the many foibles and misfires by  the residents, sports teams, business entities, and local governments.

*   *   *   *   *

So where do we begin?  The easiest and least harmful area of mismanagement are with the two major professional sports teams in the area, the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Padres.

The NFL San Diego Chargers management has taken one of greatest football teams ever assembled and devolved it into a mediocre shadow of its once formidable self.  The chief culprit is General Manager A.J. Smith.  He is aided and abetted by the son of owner Alex Spanos: Team President, Dean Spanos.

In 2006, the team went 14-2, but lost to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game.  So what did the team do?  It fired head coach Marty Schottenheimer.  The ostensible reason was that Schottenheimer tried to hire his son as an assistant coach.  The real reason as that A.J. Smith did not like (read hated) Schottenheimer.  The two men could not coexist in the same room.  So A.J. went after a "yes man" and hired one of pro football's most mediocre coaches, Norv Turner.  Turner is an excellent designer of offensive plays and is a very good offensive coordinator.  But as a head coach he is mediocre at best.  During his tenure the Chargers have had two outstanding seasons and three so-so seasons--with arguably the best talent in the league.

This year there is talk of firing both Turner and Smith.  Especially when you consider that quality players like QB Drew Brees and Darren Sproles were let go without receiving anything in return.  The drafts with the exception of 2004  Draft, which produced Philip Rivers, Shawn Merriman, and others, have been busts.  There's not enough room to list the players that the Chargers have let go without getting much value in return that also have ended up getting Super Bowl rings (Rodney Harrison or Lance Alworth).  Call it the "Jack Kemp curse."  Kemp was picked up by the Buffalo Bills in 1962 for a $100 waiver fee.  Kemp led the Bills to two consecutive AFL Championships in the mid-1960s.  Looking at the success of players like running back Michael Turner in Atlanta and and Wes Welker in New England it's clear that the Chargers are becoming the best developmental team in the NFL--just like their colleagues the San Diego Padres.

The Padres are noteworthy for being the best developmental team in Major League Baseball and for bad timing in their only two World Series appearances against super teams like the 1998 New York Yankees and the 1984 Detroit Tigers.  For the most part, the Padres as a small market team has accomplished much via smoke and mirrors and good major league managers Bruce Bochy and Jack McKeon.  With exception of 1998, when the Padres spent money to rent elite level players like pitcher Kevin  Brown, the Padres attempt to win with retreads and players past their prime.  They traded good young players Jason Bay and Oliver Perez for a power hitter, Brian Giles on the downside of his career.  Giles turned out to be a solid singles hitter and drew a lot of walks.  But he was never the home run hitter he was at Pittsburgh.
Bruce Bochy was reviled by the local fans for making bone head managerial decisions.  The truth was that he was hampered by a cheap skate general management that paid "sunshine dollars" to aging players like pitcher Fernando Valenzuela.  Within two years  after he left San Diego (or was invited to look for another job) Bochy managed the San Francisco Giants to a World Series Championship.  The trade of homeboy and fan favorite Adrian Gonzalez to the talent rich Boston Red Sox (Bosox) for some prospects did not sit well with Padre fans.  The trade was engineered by former Bosox underling/Padre GM Jed Hoyer (now Chicago Cubs GM) to former Bosox GM Theo Epstein (now Chicago Cubs President of Baseball Operations).  Crony baseballism--ya think?  The latest act inspiring fan anger and future Fan apathy is letting All Star reliever Heath Bell sign with the Miami Marlins.

The Padres are always crying poverty while raising ticket prices.  Unfortunately, good weather doesn't pay the bills or draw cash strapped people to the ballpark.  The Padres are simply not willing to put out a good product by paying free agents competitively or by retaining good young ball players.  But it's also a vicious circle because local San Diego employers are unwilling to pay their employees competitive wages.  Why?  Because the good weather in San Diego is payment enough for living here, i.e., "sunshine dollars."  That leaves little discretionary income for expensive diversions like Major League Baseball or NFL games.
*   *   *   *   *
Sunshine dollars is the curse by the political and elite classes that rule the "America's Finest Tourist Plantation" as one public artwork proclaimed before the 1988 Super Bowl.  But it's not only the undocumented worker that's underpaid, because except for the local elite, most all San Diego area workers are also paid with "sunshine dollars."  Part II discusses the crap management style of the local governments in the San Diego area.

IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED TEBOW, TEBOW AGAIN

Like most things in this country, the culture of the National Football League has been infected with the Liberal Weltanschauung.  Why else would it be acceptable to reinstate dog torturer/killer and gambling ring operator Michael Vick into the NFL and yet be dismissive of Denver Bronco quarterback Tim Tebow?  Hey, if the lefties don't respect human life why would they have respect for the sanctity of life for dogs?  To them, water boarding is torture, but what Vick did by electrocuting dogs should not interfere with his "right" to make a living by playing pro football.  Inasmuch as most sports pundits appear to be Liberals, this cockeyed viewpoint seems idiotic.  Even more so when you consider the fact that Vick was also running a dog-fighting gambling ring.  And as we all know, the self-righteous NFL frowns upon illegal gambling of any kind.

Tebow is perhaps the most exciting thing to come into the NFL in years.  His enthusiastic play has inspired his Bronco teammates into a 5-1 record since he took the starting job from Kyle Orton.  They also believe they can win as a team. Yet many football pundits are openly hostile to Tebow.  Their comments have ranged from, that he's unsuited to the professional game because he has an awkward throwing motion to outright hostility to his unabashed Christianity.  Former Denver Bronco QB, Jake "The Snake" Plummer commented,
"Tebow, regardless of whether I wish he'd just shut up after a game and go hug his teammates, I think he's a winner and I respect that about him," said Plummer. "I think that when he accepts the fact that we know that he loves Jesus Christ, then I think I'll like him a little better. I don't hate him because of that, I just would rather not have to hear that every single time he takes a good snap or makes a good hand-off."
Tom Krattenmaker, author of Onward Christian Athletes: Turning Ballparks into Pulpits and Players into Preachers, told USA Today
"At times, if you are an Evangelical Christian, it feels like the faith is being beat up on and marginalized. To see someone like Tebow to come along that boosts them all and makes them feel kind of proud. He is a real champion for the faith and makes them want to defend him."
So what if Tebow kneels in gratitude after a good play?  He is grateful to be alive.  According to the controversial Focus on the Family ad that aired during last year's Super Bowl, his pregnant mother, got sick in a Philippine hospital endangering her unborn fetus.  Against doctors' advice she did not abort the fetus.

The "right to kill fetuses" gang says that the story that the ad is based upon is a falsehood.  Democrat attack bot and lawyer Gloria Allred said that abortion has been illegal since 1930 in the Philippines and would have been a criminal offense.  She would have found hard to believe that doctors would have recommended the procedure.  Well, it will have to remain a mystery because Gloria wasn't there to hear the conversation between Pam Tebow and the doctors.  Never mind the Hippocratic Oath, which compels doctors to treat the sick to the best of one's ability.  And if that might have included recommending an abortion to save a mother's life, well, that's not too implausible.

Meanwhile, Tebow delights, entertains, and inspires with his enthusiastic play.  He has a good work ethic and appears to be unaffected by fame. He's a winner as compared to the dog torturer/killer that calls the signals for the 4-8 Philadelphia Eagles.  For once it's good to be reading about a professional athlete in the sports page and not in the police blotter.
