WHERE ARE YOU NICK? DID YOU GET JAILED FOR SEDITION?

The reports and rumors of my arrest and detainment at the alleged new Obama re-education camp at Gitmo have been greatly exaggerated.  All kidding aside, it's becoming increasingly clear that Obama's "progressive" acolytes and camp followers do not handle criticism very well.  What I love most about Liberal-Socialists is that whenever they can't come up with a credible argument against your position, they resort to verbal abuse, physical abuse, or in the case of this blog; they sabotage it.

On Tuesday, there was a malicious Trojan virus imbedded in this blog.  This is the typical "m.o."  of garden variety leftist political thugs, i.e., if you can't beat them then destroy them.  Their methods are similar to that of the Socialist stooges that served Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, and Mao Zedong.  They try to intimidate, destroy, or silence their enemies by any means necessary.

Well, the Trojan virus was removed.  So know this you totalitarian socialist vermin, I’m not at all intimidated by your malicious pranks.  I am not afraid to go to jail.  Nor am I afraid to die at the hands of you moral and ethical eunuchs.  So I will continue to criticize you Liberal-Fascists until your totalitarian socialist agenda is defeated in the court of public opinion.

OBAMA DECREES THAT IT'S TIME FOR AN "UP AND DOWN" VOTE!

Note the clowns from central casting in white doctor's coats being used as props, but Obama and Liberals never use political props, right Representative Cantor!?

Obama decrees that it's time for an “up and down” vote on health care reform.  One of the main arguments for the use of the simple majority legislative process, i.e., budget reconciliation, is that it has been used before. For example, Bush’s tax cuts and welfare reform were passed via the reconciliation process. The problem with Obama’s argument is that welfare reform passed with 80% bipartisan support and the tax cuts passed with 60% bipartisan support with even Democrat Senator Diane Feinstein voting for the Bush tax cuts.

Obama argued (read distorted the truth) that the reconciliation process has been used before.
Reform has already passed the House with a majority. It has already passed the Senate with a super majority of 60 votes. And now it deserves the same kind of up or down vote that was cast on welfare reform, that was cast on the Children's Health Insurance Program, that was used for COBRA health coverage for the unemployed, and, by the way, for both Bush tax cuts -- all of which had to pass Congress with nothing more than a simple majority.

With the so-called health care reform, there is NO Republican support and the Democrat support is shaky at best. Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Michigan, told ABC's Good Morning America, he will oppose the president unless anti-abortion language is included in a final bill.  Good luck with that one, because the radical pro-abortionist faction of the Democrat party will oppose that. Senator Barbara Boxer has run on that single issue since 1992.  As Rush Limbaugh pointed out today, all that has to be done is for the House to pass the Senate bill and he has legislation to sign without the Republican proposals. Reconcilition is a red herring.  It's getting the Senate bill passed that will be the trick.

The usual suspects have rounded up by Obumbler and flogged politically for their evil ways. It is funny how greedy medical corporations never get called out on their billing practices. A friend of mine went to one of these mega-medical corporations to get treatment for severe bronchitis. She was given four treatments, but the medical corporation billed the insurance company for seven treatments! When she attempted to point this out to the insurance company she was told by the representative, “We don’t question the bills ma’am--we just pay them.”  Obama further argued (read distorted the truth) that:
We're going to eliminate wasteful taxpayer subsidies that currently go to insurance and pharmaceutical companies; set a new fee on insurance companies that stand to gain a lot of money and a lot of profits as millions of Americans are able to buy insurance; and we're going to make sure that the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share on Medicare.

My Mother, who’s on that great medical scam also known as Medicare, had a gastric problem. Her bill from the hospital was over $14,000! But they ran multiple tests just “to be sure” that there was no serious illness. After all she is a senior citizen and the government is paying for it. I call this “big yellow truck” syndrome. I drive a yellow ’74 Dodge pick-up, which I hate taking it to mechanics because they see an old truck and figure that the college fund can be started up. Fortunately, I have found an honest mechanic, which is as rare as finding an honest lawyer or a competent doctor.

Recently, my medical insurance company sent several letters indicating that they had not paid my medical bills in full for the services rendered because the lab and the doctor apparently had charged more than the agreed contractual rate. Perhaps this was just a mistake or maybe it’s just that the medical corporations are grabbing as much money as they can. But it is heartening to see that insurance companies are being proactive in holding down costs and not just passing the on the costs to the consumer.

Where’s the outrage over inflated legal fees? There’s never any criticism by Obama of tort lawyers that take the lion’s share of any settlement or law suit against a medical entity. As a former state bar attorney, I ran into countless cases of over billing for simple legal matters. The financial abuse in contingency cases can be almost analogous to highway robbery. The traditional amount for contingency cases has been one third of the final award, but some attorneys now use a sliding scale depending how the case goes. There a tremendous incentive for the lawyer to seek not what is just but what is lucrative. Is it any wonder that the practice of defensive medicine has become standard operating procedure?

Here’s a funny thing about medical costs. I went to an eye doctor with the idea of not going to the ophthalmologist that my insurer would pay for. I wanted choice and was willing to pay for it out of my own pocket. What I found was that I got a complete eye exam for $110 dollars if I paid cash. If I used insurance, the bill would have been $230! What does this tell you? Many people pay that amount every month each for cable and cell phone service. Where are our priorities? An eye exam is something that should be done every one to three years for most people.

When people used to speak about having medical insurance, they usually meant catastrophic medical insurance for high cost illnesses costing thousands of dollars. Richard Nixon proposed such coverage back in 1974, but as you may recall, he was mired in Watergate and the proposal withered on the vine.  In Nixon’s words:

Every American participating in the program would be insured for catastrophic illnesses that can eat away savings and plunge individuals and families into hopeless debt for years. No family would ever have annual out-of-pocket expenses for covered health services in excess of $1,500, and low-income families would face substantially smaller expenses.

Surprisingly, Nixon’s plan sounds eerily like many aspects of Obama’s plan. The government ends up footing much of the bill.  But that was a different time and place. America was relatively prosperous and the population was much smaller. With the arrival of illegal aliens to this country, we run risk of bankrupting the nation taking on other nations’ responsibilities.

There are other far better ways to handle health care costs such as health savings accounts or high deductible insurance policies.  But the best way to lower costs is to maintain your health by taking charge of your life and making better health choices. This may be the hardest aspect of health care reform. But we have to start somewhere.

ED SCHULTZ--A BLITHERING, BLOVIATING LUMMOX

Can you believe this guy? Is there a bigger human anus walking the face of the Earth than Ed "Sergeant" Schultz?   After watching and listening to this blithering, bloviating, lummox of a turncoat Liberal-Fascist windbag, it would be a reasonable inference that most Liberal-Fascists are mentally ill, untalented, and just plain stupid.  And I don't give a damn if they have degrees from an Ivy League school.  The grading systems at most Ivy League schools are a joke anyway. Gradeflation is a way of life at Ivy League schools.

Ed Schultz however, went to Morehead State University on a football scholarship.  Lyndon "Useless" Baines Johnson once said of Gerald Ford, "He's a nice fellow but he spent too much time playing football without a helmet."    This  might explain the irrational turn of phrase by the Good Sergeant Schultz concerning Dick Cheney.

Here's an interesting factoid about Mr. Schultz courtesy of the Notable Names Data Base (NNDB):
By the early 1990s he was hosting a conservative radio talk show. [NN: Do tell.]  As recently as 2000, Schultz was still cheerleading on the air for far right candidates and causes, but he now describes himself as a "gun-toting, meat-eating, drug-free liberal from America's heartland." He says he had a change of heart, abandoning his conservative outlook after his girlfriend (now his wife), who worked in a Salvation Army soup kitchen, challenged him to stop by and actually meet some of "the bums" he had routinely castigated on his radio show.  [NN: I guess he was "whipped," so to speak, into getting his mind right or left, as it were.]

A political pundit or talker who switches sides is a rarity, and as such Schultz is despised by some right-tilting listeners who see him as a traitor, and viewed with distrust by some left-leaners who doubt his sincerity. [NN: You could add failed conservative pundit Arianna Huffington to the list of opportunistic political pundit turncoats. According to the NNDB "...the former Mrs Huffington went to work for Republican Newt Gingrich, and wrote a conservative newspaper column that was syndicated, but with minimal success. Readers and editors were perplexed when, instead of being utterly predictable in her views, Huffington's columns began inching bit-by-bit to the left. By the turn of the millennium, she had reinvented herself as a liberal columnist."] Despite the "liberal" tag, Schultz's opinions are mostly middle-of-the-road, and his radio program is owned by Randy Michaels and Stu Krane, two conservative former syndication executives for The Rush Limbaugh Show. [NN:  NNDB needs to seriously update its profile on Schultz.  If his views are middle of the road then I'm a 6' 6" blond Swede.]
After Sgt. Schultz's little outburst on PMSNBC, can we really describe him as middle of the road?  Here's another nugget from NNDB about Sgt. Schultz's tendency to blow-up:
Schultz later worked as a sportscaster for a TV station in Fargo, North Dakota, where he married and divorced the station's news co-anchor. In 1988, he was briefly suspended from on-air duties after screaming obscenities and coming out of the broadcast booth at a football game, to confront several fans he believed had thrown an empty whiskey bottle into the booth.
What is it about sportscasting that drives people like Ed Schultz and Keith Olbermann to become radical, irrational Liberal-Fascists?

Now if I were to descend to the irrational shrill level of Sgt. Schultz I would probably say that I would like to kick Ed Schultz's ass up between his shoulder blades.  But not being a Liberal-Fascist mental case I would instead say what a crude boorish moron Ed Schultz is.  I'm truly glad that he went over to the dark side.  We don't need such heartless cruel jerks on our side.

WANTED: A NEW INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

Back in the mid-1990s, an old boss of mine and I had a lively discussion about the economy.  I argued that a service economy is a loser economy and that we needed to build and make things.  He told me that information technology was the wave of the future and that we didn't need an industrial base anymore.  Information was the key to everything.

Everytime a Super Bowl game has come to my city, the city fathers and mothers extoll the virtues of the jobs being created.  Nevermind that these jobs are temporary and that the vast majority of the profits will go to the big shots.  The small fry will end up with just enough to stave off wolf at the door for one more month or two.  The politicians do enough to bring temporary jobs to the city, but not so much as to disrupt the finest Tourist Plantation that is San Diego as depicted in the controversial public piece displayed on the back of San Diego Transit buses 1n 1988.

We see this same "do just enough to fill their bellies" attitude in the so-called "shovel ready jobs" for public works that the Obama Administration is pushing.  In reality a fraction of this money has been spent in anticipation of the later purchase of votes in the fall elections in key states. The big contractors will get the lion's share of the monies while workers will get just enough to keep up a few more payments on their houses or a maxed-out credit cards.  Once the project is done, the politician has his or her legacy (by using other people's money) and there is another monument to governmental ineptitude.

What is needed right now, to paraphase the munificent Obama, is a "laser beam" focus on creating a new industrial base in this country.  But that won't be easy because we've outsourced manufacturing to the third world, India, and China.  We cannot do it by legislative fiat and order businesess to return to the United States.   All that's left is the make work public sector jobs.

The  public sector labor union AFSME says that we must invest more in public sector services to create a robust private sector!  According to AFSME:

“President Obama addresses the nation tonight [NN: i.e., The State of Confusion address!] after pulling the American economy back from the brink of a second Depression. Unfortunately, we have learned in the past year that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was not big enough to stimulate a full-scale recovery. Unless we act now, more Americans –- including nearly a million public employees –- could lose their jobs as current federal investments run out and the vital services Americans need during tough times are cut to the bone. There simply won’t be an economic recovery if Washington turns its back on Main Street USA. [NN: Investments? WTF!?]

“Economists from all sides of the political spectrum agree that one of the best ways to save and create American jobs is through vigorous investments in public services. For example, respected economist Mark Zandi, a former advisor to Sen. John McCain, estimates that every dollar invested in public services yields $1.38 in economic growth.  [NN: Did you ask supply-side or Libertarian economists about this assertion?

“Investing in public sector jobs creates jobs in the private sector. Federal funding is needed to keep our streets safe, our children educated and our families in good health. As living, breathing engines of economic development, AFSCME members urge President Obama and members of Congress to focus like a laser beam on saving and creating American jobs by including robust investments in public services in any upcoming jobs legislation.” [NN: Here's the payoff to the public employee unions.]
Talk about a self-serving and an infinitely stupid approach to the economy.  Spending money that you don't have to make money.  This is like borrowing money to bet on blackjack.  Keynesian economics has never worked anywhere, anytime, or anyplace.  The last time it was used on a broad scale was in the 1970s during the Carter malaise.  For those not educated in the public school system since 1970, we all know the result of Carter's deficit spending.  It's seems that we don't learn the lessons of history very well.

Obama's stimulus package is the same tired "solution" but on a far grander scale.  Just as in the 1970s when I worked as a student intern the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs for a California county, the only permanent jobs that I saw created were in the public sector.  This time the job creation is more insidious because the government jobs that are being created by Obama's stimulus package is nothing more than a political payoff to the SEIU public employee union.

So what do we do?  The tax code must be oriented toward rebuilding America's industrial base and retiring the Federal debt.
1. Exempt the first $10,000 of Gross Income from taxation that is placed in a designated liquid tax savings account. The final figure for purposes of determing the tax exemption would be determined by the same method used to determine the average daily balance for your credit card balance. The difference is that the figure would be determined on an annualized basis. Because the account would be liquid, it would available without the penalties associated with withdrawals from other time deposit accounts. The only penalty to the taxpayer would be a self-imposed one that would reduce the size of the tax exemption if any funds are withdrawn prior to January 1st of the succeeding tax year.  The net effect of this proposal would be to provide real funds to financial institutions and not loaned Federal fiat money. The banks in turn could loan these real monetary funds to the real job creators--small businesses. This expands the money supply in the purest capitalistic way without any government bailouts or loans.   You can almost hear the class warfare stooges saying that the exemption favors the rich.  So what if some "wealthy" people get a $10,000 exemption? Isn't their money just as good if used to benefit the entire nation? This proposed investment tax treatment also makes any tax savings savings bank account an attractive investment for every economic level. More importantly everyone, poor, comfortable, and rich alike would have the incentive to save and provide their own tax cuts.  Warren Buffett and Bill Gates have sheltered their fortunes through charitable foundations. So why not have a shelter for the the rest of us? Of course this would take a lot of power away from the Federal Reserve Bank, but quite frankly they've done a lousy job of managing the money supply and the economy.
2. Provide for generous capital gains treatment and accelerated depreciation for all domestic AND foreign companies that construct or significantly improve factories located or constructed within the United States.
3. Provide for a sur-deduction of ten percent of the average monthly salary plus the monthly base salary of non-management employees. The caveat to this deduction would be that the (1) employee must have worked for a minimum of 180 days in tax/calendar year and have not been terminated for cause or laid off, (2) Have the absolute legal right to work in the United States, and (3) have actually worked a minimum of 90% of the employment period. There will be no exceptions to requirment (3), including illness. Temporary and seasonal help would be excluded from eligibility for the sur-deduction.

4. Place a 12-month moritorium on NEW applications for immigration visas and citizenship. Those already in process may continue. Hardship and refugee cases may be considered on a case by case basis.

5. Under no circumstances shall unconditional amnesty to illegal immigrants be granted.
6. All costs for expenses incurred because of illegal immigration shall be collected from the country of origin and not the Federal government. Jurisdiction for a new Federal cause of action for state, local governments, and other entities that have provided uncompensated services and goods to illegal immigrants shall be in the Federal Court system in the Court of Claims.
7. American English shall become the official business language of the Federal government. This means that all official Federal documents and voting materials involving any Federal election shall be published in American English only. States and local governments may continue to use multi-lingual ballots, but only for local and state elections.  The purpose of this measure is to prevent the balkanization of the United States and to provide a unifying factor that will assist in economic growth.
8. Immediately end all bans on offshore drilling and nuclear power construction. We have denied ourselves a plentiful energy source because of a stupid movie, The China Syndrome and one oil spill. The Liberal-Fascists are Luddites when they talk about the illusory green economy and its windmill retro-technology.
9. Immediately commence an investigation into the accounting procedures and practices of Freddie Mac and, in particular, Fannie Mae that resulted in former head Franklin Raines to reap $93 million in bonuses. This money be recovered and paid back to the American taxpayer.  This would go a long toward restoring confidence in the stability and integrity of the American economy.
10. Term limits for every Federal office.  No one should ever have a lifetime office or job. This results in the decline of innovation if the same tired approaches are allowed to entrench themselves. Two four-year terms for the President, two six year terms for Senators, four two-year terms for House members, and 16 years with a right of reconfirmation for all Federal judges. The reason for 16 years is because Americans voted in 1944 to give the First American Fascist Dictator, Franklin D. Roosevelt a fourth term as President.  That was the last time that Americans spoke on the issue of term limits on the Federal level.  For too long, we had plutocrat Liberal-Fascists like Obama, Kennedy, Soros, Buffett, and Rockefeller deconstructing selected aspects of the American economy.  It is time end this economic tyranny.
If you think that you've seen this before, you have.  It's a part of a new Contract with America that I wrote about some time ago.  Maybe if I say the truth long enough it will be believed.

POST SCRIPT (Corrected and updated)

Just a short note to let you know that just about everything I wrote about in my previous post came to pass during Obama's summit.  At one point, Obama spoke almost an hour, the Democrooks spoke for 108 minutes, and the GOP got 52 minutes.  That meant that the Democrooks got 3 times the face time as the GOP.   While the cable networks aired the summit they got bored at strategic times during the charade, i.e., the gaps in coverage were coincidently on purpose.

As expected Obama waved off GOP suggestions and was at one point extremely rude to Senator John McCain who was addressing the process that needed to be followed.   Obama acted like a petty tyrant for the most part and displayed his immaturity and inexperience.  Here's the Washington Post account of his interaction with the GOP:
Like any opinionated cable host, Obama sometimes sharply dealt with those who angered him. One eye-opening exchange came when his 2008 election opponent, John McCain, criticized deal-making that bloated the current health care bill.

"We're not campaigning anymore," Obama told McCain. "The election is over."  [NN: Well sieg heil Adolph Jr., I thought that this Summit was supposed to be a bipartisan exchange of ideas!]

On television screens, it harkened back to the presidential debates with cable news showing split screens of the two men. The exchange lit up the blogs. [NN: Especially the Twits at the Daily Kos.]

"Genius!" wrote one Facebook member, Bruce Stevenson.  [NN: He's probably just another leftist Kool-Aid drinking Obamabot.]

Tim McKay had a different view on Facebook: "I'm not John McCain fan, but the way President Obama just treated him at the health care summit was in my opinion, about as classless and unprofessional as they come." [NN: I would have said that Obama showed about as much class as a cracked toilet seat.]

The president also criticized Rep. Eric Cantor of Virginia, the House's No. 2 Republican, for piling a copy of the Senate bill on his desk as a prop to make the point that changes should be simplified. "Those are the kind of political things we do that prevent us from actually having a conversation," he said.  He cut off Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell after the Kentucky senator checked his watch to note Democrats had more speaking time. [NN: The Dems have never used children or sob story letters from constituents as props.]

"There's an imbalance in the opening statements because I'm the president," Obama said.  [NN: Mein Führer!]

Writing with an outsider's view, the Times of London wrote that "watching American politicians argue about health care can be seriously damaging to your health. Symptoms include migraines, extreme fatigue and sudden violent urges." [NN: Yeah,  like your system is so damn perfect.]
The true aim of the Liberal-Fascist Democrooks emerged as the Summit trudged on. Their aim is to take over the insurance industry.  That's because unlike their hippy dippy rhetoric of "sharing the wealth," these people are simply greedy corrupt bastards.

OBAMA'S THREE CARD MONTE HEALTH SUMMIT GAME

Although his first year in office could be characterized as a mini-disaster, the Master of Disaster--Obama may have a guardian demon on his shoulder.  Thursday begins the big Three Card Monte game also known as the Health Care Summit.

Joe Biden says that the summit "could be pure theater."  (Is this guy trying to undermine Obama?  Is he lowering expectations?  Is he setting up the scenario to blame Republicans for any lack of progress?)  In a USA Today article on the summit, Biden is quoted as saying, "This could end up not being good," Biden said during an exclusive interview with The (Wilmington, Del.) News Journal. "But I know of no other way than to just keep pushing, saying, 'Guys, OK, this is our idea. What's your idea?'"

This aggressive stance is a ploy that implies that something must done be right now!  But most Americans don't want this kind of hasty reform. Add to this mix the looming fact Democrats are facing a shrinking window of opportunity to pass their radical leftist agenda.  They will press hard for passage of this Frankenstein piece of legislation before the November mid-term elections.

Here's the possible  Three Card Monte strategy of the Obama and the Democrats for pushing this unwanted legislation down the throats of the American public.  First, the Democrats will suppress or reject any major Republican ideas as being out of touch with what the American people "need."  Second, the Lame Stream Media will spin the Democrat actions by mirroring Biden's remark to Gannett reporter, Nicole Gaudiano that "there ain't no Republican program."   Third, the Lame Stream Media will keep hammering the old Democrat line that the Republican Party is the Party of No!  Amidst all of this misinformation, the weaknesses of the Obama plan will obscured.

The politically naïve Republicans are probably walking into a trap.  But that's the problem with thinking that your counterpart is ethical.  The late, legendary World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler, Eddie Guerrero used to say, "Lie, cheat, and steal."  That sums up the Democrat credo.  Even when it comes to transparency they just can't play it straight or honest.

Because of a continuing commitment to broadcast live Senate and House sessions, there might be NO LIVE CSPAN 1 or 2 coverage and viewers may have to rely upon CSPAN 3 coverage. But not everybody has cable.  According to one survey, only 51% of American households have cable TV.  CSPAN 3, which picks up the overflow from CSPAN 1 AND 2 is carried on very few cable or satellite outlets.  And what would be the Democrat's comment on all of this?

Clever guy that Obama, he could have done this summit on a Saturday or Sunday when transparency could be maximized.  And no, none of the alphabet "nooze" networks will do live coverage of the event, allowing Obama to do his weasely thing.  You can bet that the leftist lame stream media stooges will spin and distort the event to Obama's advantage.

However, the taped delay of the summit will be aired after the House and Senate adjourns and will be programmed opposite the Olympics.  Good luck getting an audience for either event.  My guess is that  more people will watch the Olympics than will watch six hours of political pablum.  FoxNews.com will be doing the job of CSPAN, PBS, and the alphabet networks by streaming live coverage of the White House summit in its entirety.  Too bad that there isn't better coverage of what might be the issue of the decade.  There are many flaws in the Obama "plan" and they need to be exposed.  John F. Cogan, Glenn Hubbard, and Daniel Kessler write in WSJ-Opinion Journal:
Its key elements—mandates, heavy-handed insurance regulation, and entitlement-based, middle-income subsidies—must go. None of them address health care's fundamental problem: high and rising costs. Instead, the various versions of health reform put forth by the president and his party are based on expanding health-insurance coverage. The inevitable consequence will be to exacerbate the cost problem. And the American public knows it...
...To reduce the growth of costs, individuals must take greater responsibility for their health care, and health insurers and health-care providers must face the competitive forces of the market. Three policy changes will go a long way to achieving these objectives: (1) eliminate the tax code's bias that favors health insurance over out-of-pocket spending; (2) remove state-government barriers to purchasing and providing health services; and (3) reform medical malpractice.
We estimate these three changes will reduce health-care costs by over $100 billion per year and permanently reduce the number of uninsured by up to 13 million.
As we all know, the Democrats are in the hip pocket of the trial lawyers so there will be no medical malpractice reform.  States will not easily give up their power to regulate insurance companies.  Anti-business Liberals  only use the tax code to wring every penny of revenue out of taxpayers.

Instead what we have are mid-20th century leftist intellectual Neanderthals using an 19th century ecomomic philosophy, socialism, to solve 21st century problems.  The net result will be that future generations will bitterly curse the self-centered power-mad Baby Boomers for stealing their futures.

PWJs

  • Liberal-Fascists in California are calling for Meg Whitman to release her tax returns.  She hasn't become the Republican gubernatorial nominee yet so what's the hurry?  Besides, since when have Liberals ever given a damn about taxes except to extract confiscatory taxes from hard working people with small businesses.  Liberals like Tim Geithner, Treasury Secretary, seldom pay their fair share because they either have a bad copy of Turbo Tax, a foundation or are trust fund babies. Libs are also attacking Whitman for earning a multi-million dollar salary while succesfully helming ebay a private sector corporation.  Libs of course have no problem with Democrats Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson drawing big bonuses at Fannie Mae, a government sponsored corporation, using cooked books.  The only capitalism that Liberal-Fascists believe in is predatory capitialism in which the playing field is leveled of any competition contrary to greedy leftist plutocrats like George Soros and the boys at Goldman-Sachs.

  • According to the latest Rassmussen poll, only 10% of the American public think that Congress is doing a good job. Seventy-one percent say that Congress is doing a poor job. Ten percent say that Congress is doing an excellent job   Query: Did this 10% include SEIU workers at the Capitol Cafeteria and ACORN workers?

  • Fortune Magazine reports that former CEO Fritz Henderson is back at Obama Motors, the auto company formerly known as GM, as a consultant for international operations.  Henderson reportedly gets $59,090 a month for 20 hours of work a month or $3,000 an hour.  He was eased out as President and CEO of GM after only eight months on the job.  While not strictly in line with definition of insanity, i.e., doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.  Why would you pay top dollar for a guy you didn't think could do the job running the whole operation?  Maybe it's because there's mostly political operatives in Obama's cabinet.  There is very little "hands on" business experience in Obama's Cabinet and it shows.

  • AP reports that sales of new homes set a record low in January.  According to the Commerce Department new home sales dropped 11.2 percent last month to a seasonally adjusted annual sales pace of 309,000 units, the lowest level in 50 years. Wasn't the mortgage bailout supposed to fix this?  There is very little "hands on" business experience in Obama's Cabinet and it shows.  Subsidizing mortgages for people that can't afford home ownership does not work.  Wasn't this same approach that brought about the toxic assets debacle?

FIRST AMENDMENT WOES (Corrected)

Silly me.  I thought that the First Amendment allowed all of us to have differing opinions. Yeah, silly me.  I forgot that Liberal-Fascists don't like anyone that disagrees with them or their agenda.

Within the last week I have been compared to Joe Stack, the man that flew and crashed into the IRS building in Austin, Texas because I have strong opinions.  I was told in an e-mail that if ten random people were to read this blog that it would appear to be a rant that was no different than the suicide letter that Joe Stack left.  For readers that haven't read it, here’s a link to the text of Stack’s suicide letter.

The following cyber answer appeared  on answers.yahoo.com. Yes, I know that it's not scientific or statistically accurate, but it is random.  (Besides, science is whatever you want it to be, just ask Professor Phil Jones of the Climate Change Unit at the University of East Anglia.)  The cyber answer was in response to a question on whether Joe Stack was a Liberal or not:
By his own rants, he showed his true colors:
He was anti-religion,
He was anti-Bush,
He was anti-corporate America,
He was upset over lack of Health care coverage,
He believed he was smarter than the rest of us (feeling intellectually elite),
He believed he was a victim (took no responsibility for his life),
He favorably quoted a communist creed,
He was critical of Capitalism,
He refused to pay his taxes (like Tim Geitner [sic] and the bevy of liberals that could not make   it onto Obama's Cabinet.)
He is a classic example of a self deluded liberal.

Unlike poor Joe Stack (RIP), I try to provide readers with written as well as visual sources to show readers how I arrived at my opinions.  I also do it to encourage readers to do their own investigation.  I cite Liberal as well as Conservative sources because there are nuggets of information in most all POVs, even from the bastion of irrational rabid leftists, the Daily Kos.

Early last week I was told by another reader commenting on one of my blog entries that I was a "pot calling the kettle black," i.e., that I’m a hypocrite for being critical of Robert Gibbs, Propaganda Minister to Chairman Obama. That’s his opinion for which he is entitled as I am entitled to mine. Unfortunately, under his weltanschauung, only he can have fun at the expense of his Conservative foes.

I support free speech. That means that unlike most Liberals and Progressives, I don’t support the Fairness Doctrine, college speech codes, or political correctness. As an aside, political correctness is what we used to call politeness and discretion. It involved self-control and self-discipline something of which many Baby Boomers have none of.

The upshot of all the "helpful criticism" that I got is that I should try to be "civil and kind" to Liberals and the (self)-righteous people that call themselves “Progressives.”  To do that, I would have to pretend that Liberals and Progressives are rational thinking people and that facts do not exist. But it never ceases to amaze me how Liberals and Progressives get so outraged whenever anyone questions their agenda.  This is true even if--as with Climate Change--the agenda item is plainly wrong.  Many of my Boomer acquaintances have told me that they have been Liberals or Progressives since their college days.  Now that’s a “no [intellectual] growth” policy if I’ve ever heard of one.

I think that the problem with our Liberal and Progressive friends is that they are so used to not being questioned about their flamboyantly irrational opinions and dogma. But it's okay for Libs and Progs to name-call, distort, lie, or just simply be the irrational ideologues that they are.

These ideologues are similar to the true believers discussed by Eric Hoffer in his 1951 book, The True Believer: Thoughts On The Nature Of Mass Movements. Here's a little film that covers pretty much of what the Left is all about.

WARNING: Some readers might find some of the images in this film short very disturbing.  Those of you that are offended by the South Park or the Family Guy TV shows should skip viewing this film short and continue reading.

Below is Ed Schultz's impassioned defense of Climate Change.  He calls this MSNBC segment "Psycho Talk," a term which he thinks applies to the Conservatives that he's bashing.  As you listen to this you'll see an argument and proof that Liberals evolved from lemmings.  On February 10, 2010, despite the Climate Change/Global Warming hoax being discredited on a daily basis, Sergeant Schultz is still defending Climate Change. He "sees nothing" that contradicts what his handlers have told him to say.  This "True Believer" may indeed be talking about himself when he mentions "Psycho Talk" in the clip below.

As a tribute to Sergeant Schultz and Ed Schultz we present the following:

Here's the trifecta with Keith Olbermann, Rachael Maddow, and the ever bubbly Chrissy Matthews commenting on Obama's State of Confusion address.  Note the subliminal racism abounding in Chrissy's words.  He means well, but Liberals just can't help being bigoted. He claims that he doesn't think about race all of the time (just most of the time).  Chrissy says that for one hour he forgot all about Obama's blackness.  Funny, but Chrissy also forgot that Obama is also half white.

Well, I guess all this is going to get me in trouble again.

GOVERNMENT EXTORTION AND OTHER INSTITUTIONAL CRIMES

Like clockwork, cash-strapped governments everywhere practice their unique form of extortion during budget crunches.  In Cahleeforneeah, (California), Governor Arnold Strudelmaker and the neo-Marxist Democrook legislature are planning to release prisoners pursuant to legislation that they passed as a trailer bill to last year's state budget.  According to one political consultant quoted by the Sacramento Bee,
"The legislation was based on a lie that the prisons are filled with low-level offenders who pose no real threat to public safety, and that is absolutely not true," said Ray McNally, a political consultant whose client list includes the California Correctional Peace Officers Association and Crime Victims United of California, which is partially funded by the guards' union. "When you release dangerous people, other people get hurt."
Governments always threaten dire consequences during budget crises unless they can raise taxes.  They will claim that old people will be thrown out in the street; children will starve because the schools where they can get a free breakfast (and sometimes lunch) will be closed; we'll be overwhelmed with dirty air and water, we need more money to fight climate change global warming, there's going to be roving bands of violent "utes" preying on law abiding citizens because there are no more cops, blah, blah, and more blah.

On the local level, the "pol cats" are threatening to layoff cops, firefighters, and school teachers unless you pay more taxes.  At the state level they're going to release hardcore criminals onto the street unless you pay more taxes.  At the Federal level, MODO (Master of Disaster, Obama) says the never ending recession could have been worse if he hadn't thrown trillions of dollars at it.  And you will have to pay more taxes

That old Democrap War Horse, the threat of another Great Depression, has been released from the barn.  But the old Boogey Man, Herbert Hoover has been replaced by George W. Bush.  MODO's failures have been masked by his childish tendency to blame others, especially Bush, for his failures and his naïveté.  And yes the Obama Stimulus has been an unqualified failure.

Odumbo and Odumber (Joe Biden) have gone on media rampage claiming that their Stimulus package has been a suck-cess! MODO and Vice President Joe Biden are basically jawboning that the Stimulus has been a success on the one-year anniversary of a plan that was shoved down the throat of US taxpayers by the US Congress via Democratic majorities.

But the American people seem to be waking up.  One poll shows that almost half of the American people believe that the Stimulus will never create a job.  CNN, ever the Leftist Propaganda Shills allowed the DNC Chair Tim Kaine to extol the virtues of the Stimulus virtually unchallenged.  But anybody with a shot at a three digit IQ believes Kaine.  Even retiring Democrat moderate [sic] Senator Evan Bayh has a take on the suck-cess of MODO's Stimulus package.

Call it what you will--the Big Lie or disinformation (in Russian terminology dezinformatsiya or dezinformatsia), MODO is trying to sell it like the good Afro-Leninist that he is.  A CBS News/New York Times poll last week found that only 6 percent of Americans believed the package had created jobs. Another poll by CNN/Opinion Research Corporation showed a majority opposed the Stimulus program.  But does MODO care about what average Americans think?  Absolutely not.  What Marxist does?   That is unless the individual is big contributor to his or her campaign fund or can deliver votes.

When I worked for a California county several years ago, County employees went for five years without a cost of living raise.  Meanwhile, the County Supervisors and their staffs all got raises every year of the austerity period.  I'm shocked! Shocked that politicians would engage in self dealing!  But politicians always misspend public monies.  Part of the County's financial problems came about because like the morons that they are, they fell into the trap of wanting to run government like a business.  They played venture capitalists by investing in a recycling plant that was a money loser.  They ended up having to sell the plant and the landfills to private industry.  The stupid part of the "business" transction was that the County retained complete legal liability for any hazardous conditions caused by the landfills.  That says a lot about the quality of their lawyers and risk managers along with their business acumen.  In 1999, I wrote some $2 million in purchase orders for computer patches to protect the County's COBOL driven computer system from the Y2K computer bug.  The County "Stupervisors" had ample warning of the problem but they failed to act as they always do and paid a premium for the software patches purchased at the last minute.

We see everything falling apart in this country.  Yet there are some people walking the streets free as birds that are responsible in part for this mess.  Not only that, their ill gotten gains might be  recoverable funds.

Question: How could a crooked CEO be free after looting a government sponsored enterprise for $90 million dollars through cooked books?
Answer: Be a Liberal Democrat and know that the court system, the media, and the Justice Department legal hack Eric Holder are in the pockets of your fellow leftist crooks.
The former CEO of Fannie Mae, Franklin Raines walks the street a free man with $90 million dollars in bonuses “earned” from cooked books at Fannie Mae.  Fannie Mae as you may recall is at the crux of the mortgage and credit crisis due in large part to the crypto-criminal activities of Barney "Mush Mouth" Frank and Christopher "Countrywide Sweetheart Home Loan" Dodd among other Democrooks. Dumbocrat Congresswoman, Maxine Waters, (D-Imbecile) is featured below telling the world of the “outstanding job” that "Frank" Raines is doing at Fannie Mae.

It was Enron quality corruption for sure. But unlike Raines, CEO and Bush buddy, "Kenny Boy" Lay was later convicted of looting Enron using cooked books. The answer as to why there might be unequal treatment between a Republican crook and a Democrat crook remains unsaid by the Goebbels-like lame stream media.  Let's euphemistically call it "professional courtesy."  For you conspiracy theorists (reluctant or otherwise) there's a lot of Google results claiming that Ken Lay faked his death to avoid jail and then disappeared.  According to Wired Magazine's Evan Ratliff it's tough to disappear.  Ratliff had a $5,000 contest to see if he could disappear but he was "caught" within 30 days.

The extortion racket as practiced by the Mafia and known as La Mano Nera has nothing on these new American corporate-government gangsters.  But you ain't seen nuttin' yet folks!  Just wait until MODO ladles out that Stimulus money to ACORN, SEIU, and his other cronies to either get out or manufacture the vote this fall.  Your tax dollars are at work.  It's called "shovel ready" bullsh*t.
